2 problems

can mods ban people? cause ours can’t.
If you give someone mod to 1 forum does that count them as a mod in genral in other perms, as we found out some of our members could manipulate profiles we thought where mod only, but is that cause they have mod on one forum?

Yes. AP > General > Security > Disallow moderators to ban members > No

Yes. We had this problem on my forum. We had given mod rights to people that run comps ect. and we had to make it that mods couldn't ban. So on the English support forum, because the Review and Graphics Team have mods rights for their sections, they can ban people.

Hi, if members have the permission to moderate in just ONE forum then they are classed as moderators. Therefore, they will be able to ban and edit profile fields (if you allow them to).
