what you want it to say (Forum Design), why would it do that there. thats only showing you the link in the tab.
Here place this at the very top of your overall_ header tempalte
Hit save, then be sure to go back to the template again and click the green + publish icon.

Re: Homepage title isn't showing
Well i tested it and it worked for me, but that will have the same title for each page.
Did you edit anything else in your overall header before?
check and see you still have this in your header template.
it will be not far down from the top of the template.
If you do not see that in there, then delete the template and it will set it back to it's default.. but make sure if you added anything else in there, that you save it fist.
And what you have in your screen shot, thats for search engines and should not have anything to do with your problem.
I have to check a few more things.
In you main configuration do you have your forum title site description and favacon set?
something is defiantly a lil screwy.
becuase when click you source, it shows as it should.
llok inbetween the title tags
but i have to analyze all this more
I will have to try some things on my test forum. i did few things already but cant tell what it could be yet.. i am hoping it's just something silly i am missing, if not we may have to get a tech to look into it.
yeah that and the site description to.
the meta tag, promotion search engine thing where he is should have nothing to do with it.
Because i dont have anything set for them on my test forums and all mine come up as they should.
so either the template is missing something, or something.. dunno yet i have to try more things.. odd one.
info added
oh and all his sections come up like that,
So i would start by resenting the over all template first?

Re: Homepage title isn't showing
Well i know it has nothing to do with what is in your screen shot.
Because i still have my title and meta tags set up on forum successors forum when it was a musicians forum, so the title and tags in there are all musician and i have a bunch of other music related stuff as well. and all my pages come up as they should be.. so it's not that.
And ok so you reset your template and still get the same thing.
Ok good. so now we know it's not that, i mean we have to trouble shoot my friend, we are not miracle workers.
Now did you go and check your site name, description etc..
I dont see how this will make a difference but be sure it's set up.
I think this may have to be passed to a pro-admin/tech.iI am still fiddling with a few things on my test forumS, In the mean time lets see if any other staff or members reply with a solution or suggestions and if not then it will have to be passed along to pro-admin and or tech request.
Oh you can always log in to your forums utilities and back it up a day or two before the problem started, that should fix it, however, you may lose some new post that have recently been posted, So thats up to you if you want to do that or not?

Re: Homepage title isn't showing
Or maybe try to synchronize your forum. If not then, lets wait for the pro admin/tech like what kirk posted above.

well there you have it.
That is what we have bin telling you to try
Put it there and see if it makes a difference.
To me it dont explain why the other sections would not show, but at least try it, then if a no go then we will have to get a tech.
because i dont have nothing there on my Forum successors Forum. But yet all sections you go to the tiles come up.. so i am thinking this is for a tech.
But please first try what mario and myself had said.

Re: Homepage title isn't showing
The problem is in this script: http://forum-design.forumotion.com/11870.js
If you remove the script, it should be normal again.
