Main Admin is abusing power

I need help. The main Administrator for the forum I'm also an Admin of, has been abusing his authority and jurisdiction outside of it, and has threatened to ban me over personal matters outside of the forum. Myself and another Admin asked him to hand over his account to the other Admin, so he won't take irresponsible actions and ban members of his own staff over this as a form of temporary ban till he can calm down. He hasn't complied, and we can't trust him to not take action.

Is there anything we can do about this?

Well, if this "main Admin" person is the Forum Founder, then sorry, but no, there is nothing you can do.

I'm sorry, but there's not much that can be done. The staff will only step in if the founder has been inactive for 6 months.This tutorial explains the procedure for Forumotion staff changing ownership of a forum.

Yes, he is the Forum Founder.

I'm aware of the Tutorial, but he's not going to leave anytime. We don't really want that either, but he's been very irrational and lied so much, so we had to call him out on it and it has come to this situation.

Is there absolutely nothing that can be done?

When it comes to running the forums, Forumotion will not get involved unless it deals with the Terms of Service or a missing founder.

So how about you guys create your own forum and leave his and take as many members you can with you..

then the tides change, the ball is in your court now Smile

other then that , if he has real violations that are breaking TOS, then just report it to forumotion litigation's

That's not the best or ideal situation, but if comes to to that, I might have to at this rate. I'm pretty much the person who actually works on the technical aspects of the forum and made it better than what it was, so I have that. Thank you.
