Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
Hello there just 1 or 2 Q for you.
Is this problem only when you login as i have just been to your forum and do not see a problem.
Q2, have you added any new things to widgets or any other codes to yoour forum in the last 3 days or so like Google ad's or anything what so ever.
Why i ask this is if you have placed anything in your site ACP then this could be the problem.
also it could be the server you have got your domain name from is playing up.
If you have added any new code to your forum you can get in to your forum by the Forums utilities
Go to this part and enter your info and this will take you to your Admin page
In case of error on "" Your site name here ""
Direct connection to the Administration Panel
Hope this is of help to you

When you are redirected, what appears after you press the Skip Ad button on the adfly.com page?

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
It redirects me back to the main page but I have to log in again. Which then redirects me to ad fly once again.

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
That would be nice because I was told to try another computer, restart my computer, restore my computer, delete all my files, clear browsing cookies etc. and all of them failed. I have tried everything and I cant log in to my forum. All help is appreciated.

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
The forum link you posted in the thread, takes you to adf because there is a inverted comma at the end of the link & hence the link is broken.
Here i can access your forum fine with this url

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
ok this is not a FM problem this has something to do with your computer i am 99.9% sure of it now no one else is getting this same problem but you. you need to make 100% sure you clean all your old internet files on your computer and then try again.
If you have windows 7, vista, or Xp you can do the following steps
1, go to start menu on your computer and in the search box type in
system tools.
2, Once there you will need to look for this setting
Disc cleanup... Once on that setting you will get a box pop up that will have a set of boxes to tick >> tick all the boxes and then press ok,
This should remove any temp internet files and any links to any site you have been on.
3, Now the best thing to do when this is done is shut down your computer and reset your modem by one easy step unplug it wight 30 seconds or more then plug it back in again.
This will reset any catch you have in your modem and laptop / computer.
EDIT: you may also want to try and go to your site without using a book mark from your browser as the link may have a problem with it ..try and type it out in the address bar and see if it works first.
Give this a go and let us know how you get on

Hmmm now every time I try and login it says this
"We have detected suspicious activity related to your account. To unblock it, please click here and complete the form.
Click here to return to the Index"
When I click it I put in my username and then put the proper capita in and it redirects me back to the same page.

Re: PLEASE HELP forumotion directs me to ad fly
No I found the reason why my accounts are being hacked. It has to do with the fact that I used a public computer to go on my forumotion and it probably got hacked I doubted it at first however I went to my public library to get on my second account and it wouldn't work either. So I am pretty sure that it is the fact that I am using a public address.
EDIT: I will leave this open for 3-4 days more to see if anyone tries to access my 3rd account haha. I wont go to my public library to access any forumotion accounts.
