CSS in signatures

Post by Luigi442wii on April 19th 2014, 5:50 pm

On my site, NitroHack, one of my users, Micro-Mario64, has CSS in his Signature.
I can't activate/deactivate CSS, only BBCode and HTML can be.
How do I activate it so his signature appears correctly?

Wait, about the original question:

He uses CSS but it does not work? Or does it work? Anyway you can use CSS when HTML is enabled by simply using this code:
Code:
<script type="text/css">
Put your CSS code here
</script>

That should work.

The code is probably correct, but the signature displays the code and not the result.
Thanks for the info! I'll put that in the signature now

Make sure to set "Always allow HTML"to on and also have the admin enable it under administration panel > general > messegaes and e-mail > configuration.

Hi Very Happy

Actually, there's an easier way of going around it. Give this case as an example: User uses p class for his signature and whatnot.

In order for them to make it really easy, just have them do something like:

Code:
<p class="thissig" style="code style" />

Or if you have spaces for your CSS, just simplify it to this:

Code:
<p class="thissig">This is a sig</p>

And then add the style in the CSS like so:

Code:
.thissig {
  style;
}

Or you can just use a BBC Code version. What you're attempting to do is very flexible so explore the methods Wink .

You should only use HTML or BBCode in posts, that includes signatures.
