Forum Permission Doesn't have Mod Controls
Hi everyone
I have one Forum for some reason, doesn't have Mod control ability. They don't have the mod quick tools, or the ability to check IP addresses.
I can't figure out why. Can someone direct me to the correct steps to see what I'm missing.
Thanks

Re: Forum Permission Doesn't have Mod Controls
That worked, but now there is another thread where users all of a sudden can't reply to a post.
Is there a way I can set permssions to all the threads instead of checking one by one? I'm not sure why this is changing, I'm not doing anything in the AP.

Re: Forum Permission Doesn't have Mod Controls
Hello,
You can't set permissions for threads, only for forums, make sure you check the permissions :
AP > General > Categories & Forums:
Write and Reply : Should be checked for members
> Save
Also, check if the questionable topic is locked, only admins and mods can post in a locked topic.

Re: Forum Permission Doesn't have Mod Controls
Ok thanks. Couple more questions. What exactly does this mean?
Create a topic and?
Also, when creating a new topic, I'm realizing that we should go AP > General > Categories & Forums and set the permissions as it doesn't automatically set the mod's? I created a new topic last night, and that topic didn't have mod controls.
Thanks
