Solved viewing users in admin panel

Post by azwiz December 2nd 2014, 5:50 am

First topic message reminder :

When I click on a member in A/P it flashes their username and then changes to my username for everyone . Why is that ? Is that normal ?

I am the only administrator , and have 2 moderators .

No matter what i do or what browser i use i can not recreate the problem i have gone all over he's profile and others and have not found the same problem as he is saying all it does is highlights on all the members but he's stays Green but underlines in red thats all

it sounds to me its a browser problem he's end as i have run a test for over 45mins now on he's ACP with not a problem at all.

Try using different browsers to see if it is a browser issue, azwiz.

azwiz wrote:This is how I see other peoples profile . pdb1 is myself ( admin ) if you look further down you will see that this is actually MGROZA's profile . Is this normal ? If not , how do I correct it . What I meant by flash is that when I click a username it shows that username for 1 second before changing to mine .

Ok . I didn't know that and I can't edit it out . So can you answer me ?

Friday Dec . 5 4:00 PM I did send you this and this is what I do not understand . Why when I look at every one of my members does it display my username in his username spot ? Like in this example . this is MGROZA's  profile but his name is not there . It is mine .

my guess would be whe you change the ffounder info to yours.. your browser prompt you to save the id and password .. so now when you go into profile field to change someone info it auto fills it with your info because you asked it to save the info when it prompted you.. i dont know what version of IE your running so i cant tell you how to remove the saved info but if you supply the version your using i or someone will direct you in the removal of the saved info or google it

It does seem to have been a browser problem . I had been running Maxthon ver.4.4.3.1000 as my default browser . Running off I E ver, 11.0.9600.17420 . For a number of reasons I prefer Maxthon . It does seem however that Maxthon has been the cause for this display issue . I started my I E browser and that error was not present .

If you can fix this issue please tell me so I can continue to use Maxthon . If there is not a fix for this . Then I need to know that too please .

When Maxthon is closed completely, you can edit the C:\Program Files\Maxthon\Config\FormData.ini file and remove all, or some of the sections you no longer require.

seach in that file for your admin panel/forum/ or username and remove it and it should work normal again

ok you look to have fixed the problem i have just logged on your site and see you have changed the info and yes it must have been a browser problem  Just clear your browser cache and then you should not have any more problems. please remember to change the password to your test account i was using too.

Yes . Now that I know I can view it correctly in another browser . Then we can call it SOLVED .

I do not seem to be able to find the file  C:\Program Files\Maxthon\Config\FormData.ini or anything like it .

I am not going to sweat it right now . It will have to be a topic for another day

Thank you all very much
