Cannot create a forum

Description of problem

Each time I go to create a forum, it prompts me that my username/email is already in use which it clearly could not have been as I have tried numerous emails and even created brand new ones.

Not sure what your site's problem is but you simply cannot make a forum as every email address provided is seen as already in use.

Yep. Several. Different browser too. I don't think the issue is from my end.

I've tried multiple ones from different addresses as I stated above. There was no set one.

Have you tried using any other devices such as your mobile phone, tablet, etc and see if it helps any?

Hmm... Then its not possible to check if it is the device or not. Have you checked the email addresses you tried to make your forum with? See if it may have sent you confirmation emails despite the error... Sometimes things give errors even though the action was really performed properly. So may you please double check this to confirm. Also be sure to check your spam folder as well Smile

Yes I checked all of that. Nothing in spam folders. Had a friend try as well, same issue.

I'll make a report, because it's most likely server-side. However, the email(s) you're using could also help, if it's a problem relating to the e-mail itself.

I used addresses from Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and Outlook.

Hi @dubkay,

The e-mail(s) you're using may be considered as spam by our spam filter. This can happen if it contains too many numbers, or is too simple. Our admin recommended that you create a new e-mail that's a bit more complex, preferably with gmail.

None of my emails had any numbers. They were all pretty "legitimate" looking. If that was the case, your site operators need to change the settings there.

In any case, I was able to create a forum late last night using one of the emails I had previously tried. Perhaps one of the site operators fixed it.
