website traffic has fallen
Hello everyone.
The website traffic has fallen dramatically since forums launched the promo in the square window to the right. I monitor the stat data - the quantity of refusals has increased thrice to become 70% in average. The forum is collapsing and it's losses for your service. The visitors seldom guess that they should press the cross in the corner. They are merely regular users. My old forum didn't have this feature and there were zero refusals. ....
Please remove the block.
(translate by Anna Blinova, thanks)

Hello,
What block are you talking about? May you provide a screenshot?
Also SEO (Search Engine Optimatizion) is something you should read up on as it will help increase you traffic. Therr are several good tutorials on how to do this in the tips and tricks section.

Hello @poesia-verses,
Please provide your forum URL. Any additional information, like screenshots, will help us to solve your problem quickly.
Furthermore, it would be very beneficial if you could read the following tutorials about the reference and the promotion of your forum: https://help.forumotion.com/t59451-frequently-asked-questions#faq2 and https://help.forumotion.com/t61210-list-of-tricks-tips#tuto3
Finally, I would like to remind you that there is a Russian Official Support forumwhere you can solve your problems in your native language. Of course, you are allowed to choose which community you would like to participate in.

Re: website traffic has fallen
Is that a pop up ad? If so forumotion didnt add that, Forumotion does not use pop up ads. Do you have alny scripts installed? What browsers does it appear on? Have you tried using a different browser? What is your forum url?

Also Your browser may be infect with adware or a bad add-on /extension.
if your using Firefox they have a support forum like here at forumotion. They are pretty great at helping users, in fact i often help out over there as well. However lets see if its something with your forum first.

To confirm if it is a browser issue may you try using a different browser?

Re: website traffic has fallen
Well if the Russia government require forumotion to place pop up ads for all users of tbe located in their country then forumotion has no control over that.
If that is indeed the case that is.
Might want to talk/complain to Puttin about that though.... (If he even listens).

Re: website traffic has fallen
Forumotion and any other Forumotion communities can not control what governments allow or do not allow. Because of this, some groups of people will see certain things on forums. For example, for a while the Turkish government exactly blocked access to all Turkish forums. Another example is China blocking Google services which causes issues on forums.
