Solved Change locations of default ads

Post by Mordred78 September 13th 2015, 5:30 am

Since I'm not really in the position to pay every number of months to get rid of ads, I was wondering if there's a way to at least move the location of them. Really my only problem is the big banner ad that's right underneath the header tabs. It takes up more space than needed and sometimes there's even those "Download" and "Play" ads that are just like big buttons with those words in them, which I know only ever lead to a 'luring' type of site. As I'm typing this, there's a BMO ad there instead which isn't so bad since it's the genuine site of that bank, but I would still prefer if I could maybe move the location of the ad to maybe the side or the bottom. Or if there isn't any way to move the default ads, would there be a way to put in my own ads with Google Adsense(if I end up using it) ads and have them replace the default ones as well as choose the locations?

I use Chrome with Adblock so it's really just other users I'm thinking about.

Hello,

Unforunatelly it is not possible to move them. You can't really use adsense unless.you remove the default ads first. You can't have 2 adsenses on 1 site.

Just to add some thing here

If you play about with the Add's that FM have added without paying for credits to remove them then you would be breaking the TOS and your forum will be banned / Deleted Without notice
