Username censorship and Administrator name

Newbie question. My user name is Penn, and to prevent confusion in the forum, I would like to prevent other users from using a variation of that name. If I censor Penn as a username, I know it will prevent variations like Penn1, PennB, etc., but what will happen to my own username and will this cause problems? Thanks!

Yes, if you censor the word 'Penn' it will prevent anyone from signing up with any username with 'Penn' in it, even if it is similar. It only prevent people from registering new accounts with it in it. It will not effect any account already registered before the censored username was put in. Therefore it will not effect your account or anyone else currently registered on the sites' accounts.
