Can't log in as admin in the first place

Okay so I've searched this problem and all I can find is a trillion people saying they FORGOT their password and they imply in some way, that they've been able to log in before. This is not my issue. My problem is that as soon as I created my forum, I automatically couldn't log into the admin account. I've found stuff saying the Admin password is the one you created at the beginning of making the forum. But there was no section for setting up an Admin account. If it means the password that I used to create the forum itself... that password isn't working. I've copy and pasted it precisely as-is, and it still won't work. Sooo I'm not sure what to do here. It's not a matter of forgetting, it's a matter of the correct password just simply not working.

What are you putting in as your USERNAME? When the forum is created, the founder username is 'Admin' always, so make sure that is the username. Is this the url to your forum: http://serendipitymastered.forumotion.com/ ?

Yes the password you should use to login is the one you used to create the board, if you are putting that in preciselly, it should work.

I did use Admin as the username. I just tried "changing" the password but, I'll have to wait till my "banishment" goes away to see if the new one sent through email will work. Although this seems like some sort of glitch in the system. Is it possible there is a character limitation in the actual forum that isn't present in the creation of the forum? Because I did use a lot of symbols and whatnot in my original password.

It is possible, but not likely. Forumotion does have some limitations, a full list of them can be found here: https://help.forumotion.com/t1709-some-limits-of-forumotion-forum . I don't see a 'password length' or any sort of password limitation listed there, so I am not sure if that means there isn't limitation for that or not.

I am sure our Pro admin @Buttercup would know for sure though.

Hi,

Try typing your password up to 25 characters. Example:

test123test123test123test123test123test123test123 (original password)
test123test123test123test (25 characters long)

You should regain access to your forum.
