Your forum was not lost, but it was ban:  http://www.onlineguardian.net/results.php?verify=niceplug.niceboard.com .

Hello,

If your forum was banned by online guardian, then your forum must have been in violation of our Terms of service in some way, shape or form. The only thing you can do now is try to contest the ban, while winning is EXTREMELLY rare, if you win your forum can be restored, but once again it is very very VERY rare to win.

For more information on Online Guardian and to learn how to contest the ban, please read this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t69823-onlineguardian-what-to-do .

Hello Thank you for sending me your PM with your Email address.

Sorry but your forum was found to be braking our rules and TOS and was banned.

I see you have already contested the ban but as of right now there is no more any of the staff here can do as it's now down to the head office.

If the forum was banned like this it means you did not follow the rules gave out to you in our TOS so there for your forum was banned right away.

The chance of you getting the forum back is next to nothing as it was that bad you was banned on the spot.

It doesnt matter if you were aware of it or not, if the violating content is on your forum, whether posted by a member or staff and your forum is reported, your forum can be banned on the spot by the litigation team if the content is bad enough, this is what happened. It is your respobility as founder to ensure the forum remains in compliance with our tos, if you left your forum in the hands of a friend while you were away, then that person should have made sure the forum remained in compliance in your absence and you as founder should have made sure they knew our tos and what their responbilities were.

Obivously your friend didnt keep the forum keep in compliance with our tos and thus your forum was banned. Unfornatelly as I said before, once the forum is banned, it is almost certain to remain that way as only in VERY VERY, EXTREMELLY rare times is a contest to the ban ever won. As ape said its up to the litigation team and our head office to review the forum in order to reach a decision on your contest. We dont work directly for forumotion and simply volunteers that are support forum staff, we have no power to ban forums or un ban forums, that is completely in the hands of our head office and litigation team.

If I were you, I would consider maybe starting a new forum and preparing to start over with a new forum. This time, just make sure your forum remains in compliance with tos so this does not happen again. Wink

No sorry it was down to you as the founder to keep an eye on the forum at all times or at least have a staff member you trust keep an eye on the forum for you that knows our TOS.

As a founder of a forum you must keep your members and your staff under control if you handed the forum over to some one else then there is nothing you can do as you handed your forum to someone else.

So i am really sorry but i think your just wasting your time on this and would be better off looking over our TOS and then making a new forum.

As Brandon has said it is really rare that we give a forum back when it was banned for a good reason... (Braking our TOS)

There is really no point in keeping this thread open as its not going to change the way things work

  My point is:

1,   You did not keep an eye on the forum.
2,   You may or may not have trusted some one to take over your forum and therefore the
forum was no longer your forum to even ask for it back.
2.2, If you did not hand your founders account over but you told this member they can have
the forum then its still down to you as the founder to keep an eye on the contents of that
forum. (That you did not do)

Sorry to be so Blunt.

Can't Forumotion be more rational and sift the fact that some content slip into web? This is really bad judgement. @administrator

Why did you post the same message twice?  When you create a forum, you take responsibility for what is on your forum.  You can not use the excuse that you were absence.  You need to have a staff team that can control the forum when you are gone.

Hello @RichLord

We have already told you that there is nothing we can do here at the support forum your forum has been banned and we as staff here can not get your forum back you have filled in the contest form and you will have to see if you get any reply from them.

It was down to you to deal with your forum and you did not follow the rules set out by our team so your forum was banned.

You as the founder should have made sure you had a good number of staff there you can trust to keep your forum running and keeping to or rules.

Its down to you to make sure your staff all know the rules before you let them become staff.

There is no need to reply to this topic any more as there is no more we can do.

And there is no staff named administrator so there is no reason to tag them in this post.
also an administrator has already posted a reply to you and this is final.
