As I am not very advanced in forum manipulation I am looking for a beginner's answer to a problem I have found in my Portal page.

For some time column two of my Portal page has been updated with selections of posts from the forums pages, but recently this portal-column-2 has stopped updating and the topics are now months out of date.

Is there any way I can refresh this column with some more up-to-date topics ?
