In progress Insecure Network Login Connection

Post by ArborlyBranch51 July 8th 2017, 2:39 am

Everytime I log to the site or even hover a mouse to the login site, I get a notification from the form site even this site as well saying that it an insecure network connection. It also said, if I went ahead anyway to log into the site such as this or my forum site, my personal information will be compromise by eve droppers and stolen debit or credit card information that processed through this or my site. So they wanted me to contact the administrator to secure their network by changing it to Http://

I can see the options from the spend credit that said they will provide a more secure network by buying credit for SSL, but the problem is, when I log onto this site or going to servimg.com they continue to say the network is insecure. So I'm so confuse right now I just don't get why I keep seeing this message and haven't even finish up my forum yet.

Hello,

The reason you see this message is cause web browsers like chrome and firefox are pushing https. You do not need to worry, our servers are secure, even if your site isnt https, your info will not be stolen. This is just your browser making this message appear, you can just ignore it. Our servers are quite secure and all your login data is encrypted on our servers just like any other forum service or site that lets you login.

I would just ignore this message.

It is weird that servimg comes up with this message though because I believe they switched to https. bwi

Edit: For the servimg one I ran a little test, when you type in servimg.com and hit enter it automatically sends you to the http version of the site, but if you manually add 's' after http (meaning make it https), then it will load the https version of the site and that message shouldnt appear anymore. This only works on servimg though.

ok I did try typing it in https://servimg.com and it was secure but however when I go to help.forumotion.com it just won't let me type it as https://help.forumotion.com. It still says that it unsafe. It even said it on my mobile phone as well. Doesn't make any sense. Maybe it has something to do with my firefox internet or what so ever. I guest I'll have to ignore it and take the risk without exposing my user name and password to unknown party while going to this forum site for help.

Hello,

The English Support Forum is completely safe to browse. The only thing we don't have right now is the SSL Certificate activated. Other than that, be sure that the Support Forum is completely safe to browse and you can come here and ask for help anytime you want!

Typing in the https only works on servimg. For forumotion forums lthe only way to truly prevent this is to spend credits to get an ssl certificate and go https.

Like Luffy and I said earlier, the insecure message is just caused by your browser cause your viewing a none https website. Seeing this message DOES NOT mean the site is insecure.

To the contrary all forumotion forums are secure and all login data in encrypted in our database. That said you can rest assured that all our forums ARE secure despite what that message may say.

I would simply ignore the message.

Well, I'm not too worry about the insecure network, because I believe that you guys are telling the truth to ignore the issue with the insecure network due to my old version of internet browser. I'll have to see once I purchase the credit from my forum site to enable the SSL Certificate to make it more secure on my end and from there I'll let you guys know what I see on my other end.

It happens on all modern versions of web browsers too. Its because companies like google and mozzila are pushing sites to go https and display these messages as a way to encourage sites to to https.

The problem with this message is that a site being http is not nessecarily un secure, sites have been using http since the internet was invented. All forumotion forums are secure and all login data is encrypted on our database and servers and as such you have nothing to worry about.
