Hello there,

I have a problem concerning 'Show avatars in the column "Last Posts"' (link)

I have set this option in the administrative panel and customized the templates, as said in the tutorial.
However, the avatars are only showing in the subforums.
I'd like the avatars to be shown on the index as well, but this doesn't seem to be working.

I hope someone could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Was the templates modified before you activated the option?  If no, you do not have to modify the templates.

I see. Thank you for your quick reply.

I tried to change the modified templates back to default, but unfortunately the avatars still aren't showing.
Now the avatars in the subforums aren't showing anymore either after I deleted the whole <!-- BEGIN avatar --> in the templates, as seen in the tutorial.
In fact, everything in the last post forum cel in the subforums is in a bigger font now, somehow..

I mean the modifications, not the template.

I'm sorry, I'm not too experienced with templates. I don't like to edit them, worried as I am to mess things up - which is why I'm asking for help.
I couldn't recall if these templates were edited, but it seems they were. The last post forum cells are slightly modified, as seen on our index. They were like this on the subforums too. I changed it back to the modified versions, as the styled last post forum cells were also gone by changing it back to default, of course. I'd like to keep that.

It now looks like this on the index, as it was before:
Spoiler:

and it had the same style in the subforums before. But the subforums now look like this:
Spoiler:
I'd just like to know how to change the subforums back to the style of the last post forum cells on the index, and how to make the avatars work in both sections?

Our last post forum cells were edited by following this tutorial;
link
My apologies, it's not in English, but I hope you quite understand by the codes and the image in this tutorial.
I'm afraid some codes are colliding because our template has been modified before by using the codes provided in this tutorial for styling the last post forum cells.

Hello you have the settings already installed on your ACP

ACP    Display Tab    Homepage Structure and hierarchy

scroll down to :
Show avatars in the column "Last posts" :  YES ... then save

Now the templates you have changed in the last topic has to be removed and the same with any CSS files you may have added.
