Registration issues
Hi, not sure if this is the right forum.
Several people have tried to join my forum but either don't get a verification email or the verification link doesn't work. When they try to reregister they are told that the username is already taken but I cannot see the chosen names in the list of registered users.
Why does this happen?
How do I solve it?
Is there a way for me to see half-registered accounts?

Re: Registration issues
hello
did they check their spam inbox if the e-mails were there?
check to see if the users appear in admin panel..Users and groups..Users...Inactive users... New users .
also check the anti-spam system ...go to Admin panel >> General > Security > Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames.

Re: Registration issues
I will ask them. What about those that say the link in the verification email does not work and they lack the option to get another one sent out?
Re: Registration issues
Is it a blank link?
It directs to a not valid page?
Try to get from the members more information about the issue if you can please

Re: Registration issues
I will.
In the meantime I have stumbled across a fix. I managed to find the account is 'users & groups' and could see, at the bottom, they were not listed as active. I made them o and input a password of my own creation, tested that it works, then emailed it to them
