Recieving Registration of New Member as Unregisterd
I am receiving Emails that notify of New registration on My Forum.
the Problem is the link provided for me states in the link " Not Registered " So I cannot see the registrant as being a Member.
Yet when I go to My administration Panel I can find them. So the Email Message sent to me is Wrong.
Here is an example I copied.
Hello,
A new member, called "mmoss111", has joined ANTIQUE-RADIO-LAB. You can view his or her profile using the following link:
http://antique-radio-lab.forumotion.com/profile.forum?mode=viewprofile&status=unregistered&u=mmoss111
Can you change it or do I have to change it some how. I do not know how to program changes.

Look at the Email message its shown as it was sent to me from my forum.
http://antique-radio-lab.forumotion.com/profile.forum?mode=viewprofile&status=unregistered&u=mmoss111
this link isn't correct. There in lies the problem. The person(s) have just registered.
it has nothing to do with guests
Its messages I, the Administrator receive from my Email link notifications of being unregistered when in fact they just registered.

Its just how our system is system, it has to do with how the registration system is set up. That part does not say its not registered, its just a link you click to activate the account

I could reg a new account on your site without any problem. Check this. Your user need to active his/her account first, by email or manually by an Admin.
Re: Recieving Registration of New Member as Unregisterd
Yes, everything seems to be working just fine
Re: Recieving Registration of New Member as Unregisterd
You were able to log in because I set it up to self approve. No approval needed from Admin.
Let me clarify a bit. When a member joins I am automatically sent an Email that has a link that I click on and its states No Member found.
So I go into the Admin Panel and click on Find User. It will Show the New Members Name.
So I think its a message programming error. Its sending no member found by that name when I click on the Email Link.
I went back to the Mail and it works the second time around.
So I guess even when the original link directs me to the forum and declares not found then I guess I will have to wait as maybe it hasn't had a chance to set up in the Members List.
I guess I will just have to ignore the first time I click on it and wait a day before clicking on it.
Thanks for your Input! Great Support!
