Can't log-in with forumotion
First topic message reminder :
Forum owner can't log-in with own site, nor forumotion support, nor any other forumotion site. This is on-screen message when trying to log-in..
[quote="Forumotion"]
Any suggestions please?
ETA: She has tried everything conceivable but still can't log-in. The problem only seems to relate to forumotion.

Please also NOTE this is not a browser problem this is something else we are still working hard to find out more info to get this fixed.
If dose look like some one is blocking our forums from the ISP's but I can not be 100% sure right now.
We are sorry for the long delay.

Hi Ape
I've posted on Forumotion facebook that I think it could be Talk Talk Home Safe that's blocking 'suspicious' websites - if you google it then you'll see it's quite a big problem.
I changed my Home Safe settings and can now see and log-in to the forums, but only with a proxy, but still cannot do any work in the admin panel as it seems to be encrypted and I cannot post links with this proxy either.
I've emailed Talk Talk to ask why they've got Forumotion blocked. Do these people not check before they block?
Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Hi, I've not been able to access my forum - nor forumotion's support forum - for several days.
I have not been able to access these either via my internet connection or my mobile phone's data connection, and both of these are different networks. I get a 'timed out' message or a DNS problem message "www.slimmingworldclub.biz's server DNS address could not be found".
Here are the details:
Forum: http://slimmingworldclub.forumotion.biz
IP: TalkTalk
Location: Somerset, UK
However, in a further connection attempt today at 11:10 hrs, using my laptop and TT internet connection, I have just cleared my 'local DNS cache' and voila! I am now able to connect! Hence my post here.
Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
yes thank you @SophieDophs for your help we are still looking to this problem thou as it should not have been a problem in the first place,
Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Thank you @APE for keeping this topic open until a solution is found as to why this problem even happened in the first place.
I will let you know if I receive a reply from TalkTalk as to why they apparently blocked Forumotion as a possible 'suspicious' website (if that's what's happened).
Everyone I have spoken (written) to are with Talk Talk. Yet lots of people with Talk Talk were still able to connect to my forum, which is curious.
And @SophieDophs it's good to see you have joined my forum!

Oh I see I misunderstood. I thought it was left that the topic was open until a solution was found as to why the problem happened in the first place. So I'll now consider it solved.
Thank you very much for your time.
