Can't log-in with forumotion
Forum owner can't log-in with own site, nor forumotion support, nor any other forumotion site. This is on-screen message when trying to log-in..
[quote="Forumotion"]
Any suggestions please?
ETA: She has tried everything conceivable but still can't log-in. The problem only seems to relate to forumotion.

Did she try with all broswer's? tell her to try with explorer first
also tell her skouliki says dont worry the page is on i can log in fine
if nothing is working tell her to disable the TLS
How to disable TLS
Open Firefox.
In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.
In the Search field, enter tls. ,find and double-click the entry for security.tls.version.max.
Set the integer value to 4 to force a maximum protocol of TLS
Click OK.
Close your browser and restart Mozilla Firefox
Open Chrome.
In the address bar, type:chrome://flags/#tls13-variant
Disable the TLS
Close your browser and restart Chrome
Open Internet Explorer.
Select Internet options from the dropdown menu:
Click the Advanced tab, scroll down and deselect TLS
Click OK.

Hello is this member the one that is posting on Facebook ?
I have been talking to some one on facebook and giving support
We can't talk to others about founders account unless you are the founder of that forum.
We understand the founder is having problems here but we need to talk to them and get promotion from them to talk to you first.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Message from Jill:
The TLS thingy didn't work, but interestingly when I tried to load the CMOMM forum via a hideme proxy it loaded immediately. So why can't I log in without a proxy?
It is definitely only every single Forumotion site that I've got bookmarked that I'm having problems with. Every other internet site works perfectly normally.
I've tried all browsers; I've tried a different computer with a different operating system; I've tried my laptop; I've tried rebooting the PC; I've tried rebooting the router; I've tried clearing cache and cookies; I've tried doing a system restore; I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browsers; and I've even tried pulling my hair out - but none of it works, except using a proxy.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Did she accidentally blocked the forumotion.com?
click the Chrome menu button -- marked with three horizontal lines -- and then choose "Settings" from the menu to open the Settings page.
Click the "Show advanced settings..." link, and then click the "Change proxy settings..." button in the Network section.
Click the "Security" tab, select the "Restricted sites" zone, and then click the "Sites" button to open the Restricted Sites window.
Select the blocked website from the Websites list, and then click the "Remove" button to unblock it. Click "Close" to close the Restricted Sites window, and then click "OK" to close the Internet Properties window.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Thank you very much for your swift and continuing attention to this issue. I've passed your latest suggestion onto the forum owner.
I will let you know the result as soon as she replies. It can't be a problem with her computer because she has tried other computers but the problem is the same, as posted above by forum member Sharonl.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
So it only happens to forums hosted by Forumotion? It sounds like it could be her Internet connection.

Thanks, I'll pass on the message. I believe the forum owner is now speaking to Ape over on facebook.
Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Yes - the problem only occurs with forumotion forums. All was fine last night but today Jill is getting the timed out message on forumotion sites. Her account seems fine as she has asked me to log in for her, which I did successfully.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
I don't think it has anything you do with the SSL certificate
It looks like a server problem some place.
If we do not have your forum address please post it here so i can update my files.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
JillHavern has asked me to pass on the message - she has changed the TLS as per Skouliki's suggestion up-page but now she can't see the forum at all, even with a proxy.
Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Tell her to change the settings back @Moddy.
Sadly the head office is closed right now but I hope they will read my report tomorrow.

Re: Can't log-in with forumotion
Hello, we are searching for the source of the problem but have no response for the moment. Could you please ask the members who are experiencing this problem to give you 1) information about their provider 2) their localisation ?
Thank you !
Thank you !
