Description of problem
By mistake I copied over the contents of a post I had spent months on writing. Originally the post had the following title "Chapter 137: April 20, 1992 - The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert" and it was located here: http://www.a-4-d.com/t2847p120-the-history-of-guns-n-roses-in-their-own-words#13410I know there are backups of the forum. Is it possible to retreive the contents of the post and send it to me?

Re: Need to restore post
Thank you.
This feature allows me to restore the posts and users as they were on April 15. If I were to do that, I would lose all posts added since April 15, which is worse than the current situation where I have just lost one very important post. Is there no way of retrieving a backup of a particular post rather than reverting my entire forum to how it was one and-a-half month ago? I understand there will be no automatic feature for this, but I would be happy to pay Forumotion for them to go through the database backup set and send me the content of the post as it were before today.

Re: Need to restore post
That is the only options for restores.
Example: If on March 4th you restore your forum to February 20th, all the content that existed on February 20th but no longer exists on March 4th will be restored on the forum. Content created between February 20th and March 4th will not be removed from the forum by the backup. In short, a backup does not delete anything, it only adds (or replaces) content. Warning : The created content may be overwritten by the backup if the structure of the forum has changed in the meantime.
