How will purchasing a Domain name effect my forum?

I am interested in adding a domain name to my forum via the AP panel. My questions are:

Will members who have the old address still be able to find the forum with the link to my forumotion address?

Will I have to redo my verification with google to place on their search engine with the new address?

Hey @Anji 1,

It will not influence anything. The old url will be functional (and running) and you can "Force the URL redirection"!

Is better edit your Google option - change the domain name!
