having issues with being a viewed forum

It never fails once forumotion starts playing with this site and doing whatever they are doing in here we end up with all sorts of issues all over again.  The site has been a mess as it has been worked on again and now we go in this morning and our site is no longer private, why?  No one could see in our group up until  now, and the past two days or so forumotion has been "so called doing maintence" on the groups--I know it isn't you -but why can't they leave well enough alone?  We all in the group are at our wits ends with this-we worked hard to get our group where it is and then the do some maintence and here we are all over again clicking on icons to try and make it private again.  If we had some answers or someone please side with us and let's stop this madness since it really doesn't upgrade the group anyway only create more work for the owners.  I noticed no others are complaining about this-are we really the only ones complaining or the only ones bold enough to step up to the plate and say this has got to stop?

Thank you for your quick reply and never did know that this was also on facebook--but we always end up in worse issues than we had in the first place-something goes wrong and the manager has an issue fixing it.  Now how do I get my group private again?  We all can see the group-yet it was all clicked on to members and admin only and still  outsiders can see us.  What  good is that if we are viewed and yet we click on the right icons not to be viewed once maintence starts?  If I sound in a uproar I am-not at your personally.  It just is that there is one site that never appears to have issues and if they are running smoother sometimes it is best to find out what they are doing that you could benefit from-something like we all do when we want to improve ourselves.  Thank you for listening

That is odd as we see  it as opened-can you try this link please since we moved it over and this appears to be opened as well when it is private and has been closed until  maintaince - thank you.  We created a new group with hopes of getting the snags out but guess it didn't work well

Yes it is opened to guests and that is the point--it shouldn;t be as it wasn't opened until the maintence occurred and now we are opened to guests for some reason.  Before Maintence two days ago we were closed to guests-so what is going on that our groups that were once closed are now opened? I have clicked on the icons that are not to allow guests and yet guests can still see in the group.  There were three of us that tried it out to be sure and it was closed at the time and all three of us  now find it opened again

Now we show as 70 users on line and we don't even have that many in our group--what is going on?  And below is the guests we have-I am stunned...

No one is suppose to view  us we are a locked forum-after maintence we are being viewed again and had three members try it by logging out and they can view the forum-we want an unviewed forum like before-all of it is clicked to no guests but we are still open to guests-that is the problem.  I can let you in and  you can check it out and see why we are still viewable

That does not mean that guests can not visit your forum.  If you have it set up correctly, all they will see is the login boxes.

Well if we can view it then they can-the link is below and I am sure you will be able to view it too unless another trick was played on us lol.  Sorry but I am having a hard time with this site right now and spent almost a whole day on it and this is irritating. I always have three people make sure  it is  not viewable and to come in today and find others can view it is irriating to say the least.  These should be simple things and now they are becoming where we pull teeth to get simple things done here.  I would appreciate it if you would view the group below and tell me if you are seeing the group like the rest of the members are, you should only be able to see where you must register to go in the group and not see our chat box and our threads.  As I mentioned in the first place-it was set up not to be viewed until this morning and after maintence it all went downhill again and it was viewable to the publice-they seen the group not just the login
