Technical Details

Forum version : #Invision
Position : Founder
Concerned browser(s) : Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, Other
Who the problem concerns : Yourself
Forum link : https://cjhb.666forum.com/

Description of problem

URL tags are automatically be wrapped around links, which might cause some problems.
For example,
Code:
will be parsed as (www.baidu.com)test
Another problem is when custom BBcode with a link as its parameter.
I wonder how to disable automatic url-parsing.
Thank you:D

A workaround is to convert unicode to html entities, using the online tool: https://onlineunicodetools.com/convert-unicode-to-html

Hello.
If the width and height of images are specified in BBcode, the url of that image will be automaticly parsed and the image will not display.

Sadly you can't turn this off it's made to be like that on most forums now if you want the URL without the link then just add a gap

Hello, another problem is that a space is automaticly inserted after the link, for example www.baidu.com()()() will display as www.baidu.com ()()()
on my forum. And that space didn′t exist in the post editor. I don′t know where is wrong. Confused
For example https://cjhb.666forum.com/t1-topic in the screenshot below, a space is inserted after each of the two links:

Hello, automatic url-parsing is causing trouble when displaying images. For example,
[img(86.3826px,21.4773px)]https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/media/math/render/svg/2257ced472e676e5616b80c206e53ac7d686f84e[/img]
Code:
[img(86.3826px,21.4773px)]https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/media/math/render/svg/2257ced472e676e5616b80c206e53ac7d686f84e[/img]
-------------
The image displays correctly in the editor when I edit this post:
