Trouble with images not sizing the same in different topics , forums , categories

I am getting stumped . I can be posting a series of images . When all of a sudden the images stop sizing properly .

Here is a screenshot example : 3rd post is the one in question .



As you can see the images stop reducing . Not even showing the whole width . Being 5 images across .

But if I copy the same exact images to another forum . One I don't want them in . See how the 3rd one posts correctly .



They post properly . This has happened several times . Do any of you know what is causing this ?

Okay so your saying that for 9 years I have posted endlessly . Literally hundreds , thousands of mega long pages of never ending same or similar size images . Without an issue . That if I change the setting from 1024 to NO . It will change something .

Obviously there is no way to tell just by changing it and posting once .

Do you want an admin link ? There is no errors to see . I of course did not post them .

If what you are saying is true . Then if I keep it on " NO " . I will never have that issue just come out of the blue in some forums and not in others .

I will continue my project with the : NO " setting . If I no longer get that issue . Then it is all good .

I have looked over your post you linked and I don't see the same problem.

can i ask have you cleared your browser ?

To me it looks like your browser is finding it hard to save data when resizing.

No it is not my browser . I keep it clean and clear . The biggest problem I have is my slow internet . That has always been a problem . Especially when downloading , uploading images in my forum . Or any forum for that matter .

You wouldn't have seen the issues as as I stated above . I did not save them . All you will see are the ones that worked .

Ok, I saw it. The first top image is correct, all the others under the first one is not sized correctly. Edit the post and see if there is any errors in the tag coding.

Wow this forum posts much differently than mine .

Do you have any tips for getting them to display properly ? And why it works in some of my forums and not in others ? And why does it view properly in preview mode but won't post ? It's gotta be something .

It will also post any single one of the url's . But not more than one .

I really need to fix this . This is a site stopping problem . This has never happened before . At least that wouldn't eventually clear up .

What was that code supposed to do ? If If I have noticed anything so far . It appears that my already pathetically slow system is even slower .

okay it looks like the file size of them images are not the same as the others.

try one thing please can you change the size in your ACP ....

ACP >> General tab >> Messages and emails >> Configuration >>

What is it set at and just change it a little see if the problem gets fixed or not.

Some thing I noticed is these same 8 images were having the sizing problems way down the page . Following 101 similar images posted prior .

So I tried it again . Same thing . 101 posts in 2 entries . Then the first one of the 8 is fine . The following 7 are not sizing .




So then I tried posting those 8 images 1st in a new topic . That worked . Sort of . Now the first image wont resize . But the following 7 are fine . Lol .

So now I am going to change it to

w = 600

h = 400

I'll let you know .

I find that I cannot exceed w = 450 . To retain the entire image . Still not cooperating .

do you have any javascript or ccss code about fancy box images?
cause from the inspector a see the specific tag so the code i gave you is just a simple code that reduces images under that tag

If the copy and paste is a " tag " then that is what I did . The proper way . If the correct " tag " did not transfer . It was not my doing .

It looks right above . And it looks right in my css .

No nothing has changed . I am currently trying to take new group screen shots of the same files that will not resize . I will let you know if anything changes .

In the meantime . I also work , run errands , eat , spend time with my wife while not on the computer . I know you are not rushing me . I'm just saying that these operations take a lot of time .

But No in the scenario that I want to post these files ( chronologically ) . I get to this point and they no longer resize .
