When I open the news & interests in the taskbar, I get this message, "we're having trouble loading your feed."   I have tried the solutions I found from Google search, but none have worked.

Right now the settings for apps to use location is turned off.  If I open Microsoft Edge and click my feed, I see want should appear in the taskbar.

Well, in this case I was wondering if I could ask you to do me a favor?

First, check and get the latest Windows Update

Second, re-enable "News and interests" feature via Registry Editor by pressing Windows + R -> type gpedit.msc and hit Enter

Find and locate it in
Code:
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> News and interests -> set Not Configured
Save and reboot

I get an error when I try gpedit.msc.   Did you mean regedit?

But the weather is not working either.  It has been 72 and sunny for the last 2 weeks day and night.

No Sir, it's Local Group Policy Editor, available for Windows Pro and above but not for Home user

If you get an error, please give this a try

Open a new notepad, copy & paste this
Code:
@echo off
pushd "%~dp0"

dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~3*.mum >List.txt
dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~3*.mum >>List.txt

for /f %%i in ('findstr /i . List.txt 2^>nul') do dism /online /norestart /add-package:"%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\%%i"
pause
Save as type -> All files -> name it as a.bat

Run it as Admin and reboot

You should see it

Group Policy Editor is not available in Windows 10 Home and that batch file (a.bat) should fix the error

Or you can try to turn on a VPN program like Cloudflare and see if News & Interests could load

I had the same issue a few months ago, and it took me a while to figure it out. It turns out I needed to make sure the privacy settings in my browser were up to date. Once I did that, everything worked perfectly. You could also try looking for some cheap windows keys online, as that could help fix the issue as well. Using windows keys from a reliable resource provides access to the latest patches, bug fixes, and security updates. That should do the trick for you

What does your browser have to do with this?   I am talking about the toolbar at the bottom of your desktop on your PC.
