Moderation Clarification

Occasionally I get a new user or a guest . That like to spam a high number of links in random topics all over the site .

I just ban them right away . Or just delete their ptofiles .

Does this setting prevent this for the first week ? And guests not ever able to ?

Okay . Real guests cannot . Members that do not log in , are viewed as guests . And are able to post . This has always been this way . When I had a high number of member traffic . This always bothered me . Many would post . But I didn't know who it was . As it says guest .

This is normal default yes ? And can actually be left that way ? Ot should I keep it like above ?

@azwiz it depends on what you want to do, it's a setting - you can set however you like.
The effect that each of the two options does is pretty clear, what is your doubt?

YES.......

To directly prevent "guests" from not posting, you can change the permissions of each sub-forum from ACP > General > Forums & Categories > (forum name) > 
