Push Notifications

I recently found display issues with my long time browser Firefox . Unfortunately .

Am now using CHROME . Which I do not like .

I seem to be getting more " Push Notifications " than normal .

Except that the " Push Notifications " from CHROME , YOUTUBE , FORUMOTION . Do not show up anywhere else , except for a quick second on my PC screen .

Not showing up in my emails or my phone .

One that is happening regularly is one I have not been quick enough to screenshot .

It says :

" Ape is now connected to Forumotion " .

This is curious for me to be seeing this . As Ape does not have any type of account in my forum . So I wonder why I am seeing those " Push Notifications " for Forumotion Support Forum ?

On another note . I still have not seen any notifications regarding " Popular Contents " . But I will remain patient until closer to the 1st of the month .

 NOTE:
Push Notifications don't work in your Email's it's just a browser notification.
If you are talking about on this forum then you must be a friend or you are following me on the forum.

If you are talking about your forum well then i am not sure why you would get this.

I assume the PUSH notification came from Forumotion .

Now I have other news .

Today I got the email for Popular Contents . Finally .

Except for a slight problem . The link takes me to my main page . NO active link to the newsletter .

Lol . Despite being told by top moderators that the link in my AP does not show the archives .

Well I did mention it in the first post .

It is an on going issue that has never been solved .

There is not a current open discussion on the issue .

I will copy and paste my inquiry above and start a new thread . When that comes to a stand still . We will close it again . Only to start it up again in the near future .

All in the name of forum guidelines .

So how do I bring up the topic of Popular Contents Newsletter Push Notifications . And try to solve them all ?

When 2 issues are not related, you need to start a topic for each issue. Also you can send us a PM to open a locked topic.

Okay . So I will continue with the topic .

2 minutes ago . I got a PUSH notification . On the bottom right of my monitor .

It was from FORUMOTION . It said ( again I wasn't fast enough to screenshot it ) wasn't trying . Because I keep expecting to see the PUSH notification again in my email .

It said something about skouliki?(sp) posted a comment or some such in Members Introduction .

So it's messages like that and the Popular Contents PUSH notifications .

I seem to remember also getting the same email . But now I don't .

I'm only talking about the Forumotion notifications .

If I click on them nothing happens .

Because for the brief moment I see the notification . That is the only time .

I used to get them in my phone messages .

Now I don't .

Is that normal ?

I have all things related active in my PC and phone settings .

I get other notifications also .

But I want to know how to access the notifications .

Once it flashes by my screen . There is no sign of it . I mostly never even see what it says .

If a person is required to stare at the bottom right hand corner of their screen to never miss a push notification . And then quickly write it down so one can search for that ad ?

What is the point of these notifications if they are not active and can't be found ?

Let me make this clear.

Push Notifications do NOT send Emails to you. It is a browser tool that pops up on your screen. most of the time bottom right hand side.

You will never get a email from this system and you never will.

Friends of yours:
If you have me as a friend then you will get a small pop up saying when i have logged in if you are online as well ( You DON'T get a email.

Following a member:
If you are following a member you will get a Notification on the tool bar NOT by Email.

Again news letters are not the same thing.

Now if i was to press the yellow bell

then anyone asking to have a push Notification will get the little pop up on the bottom right hand side
by the browser. This again is not made to send a email.
