Hello @Rale thank you for your post about your problem today.

Can i ask you what is the end part of the Email address the members are trying to make the account with ?

Right now the only ones we do not have a problem with is Hotmail, Live, Yahoo, Gmail, Any other ones may need to be white listed on our end.

When you give us any email's please just give us the host address like
Code:
Hotmail.com
only.

Best regards.

Ape.

Hello!

I help run the Dutch rpg forum https://www.warriorcatsnl.com/ and recently we've run into the problem that new members can't register because they're marked as spammers.

The members that are registering get the message that says "We can't confirm you're not a spammer. Try again." and get stuck on the registration process.

I've combed trough all the security settings on the forum, trying to see if it's something that has changed over there but I can't find it. Please help!

Hello @Kiekie,
I made a test account on your to test the registration page on your forum, I was able to register successfully. I guess the bug doesn't effect everyone. You may delete the account I made if you wish.

Hi! Thanks for the info, indeed it doesn't affect everyone that's trying to register. We've cross checked with multiple browsers and different emails and that doesn't make the difference. I don't know if IP addresses could be the culprit?

Hello everyone,

To keep you informed, a patch has been posted online few minutes ago. It must provide a solution to the problem without abandoning the fight against SPAM.

The fix targets the registration and post/edit message pages (under certain conditions).

And for information with the Google Recaptcha V3 solution, it is completely normal not to have a Captcha to complete, this is the principle of the V3 (many people think that it is an error not to see a captcha but this is the intended behavior). To find out more: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/v3?hl=fr

Can you give us feedback please? Thank you for all your reports.
