hOW CAN I PUT PICTURES ON MY GALLERY????

i need help guys how can i put pictures on my gallery

You have to activate it first in the admin Panel.. once you have done that, create a public gallery.. and once doing that you should be able to upload to it.. I created one and added a photo for it... I click on the image and I am taken into the public gallery. There is an upload button on the left of the gallery page... use that and it allows you to browse your computer and thus upload pics..

Admin Panel >> Modules >> Gallery >> Configuration
Enable/Show gallery

Then :
Link at the navigation bar appears. Click it

Then you just click on the upload button and choose file >> upload.

I have done all of this, but there is no upload button shown.

Look at your images and make sure the logo is not hidden.

Did try this, but picture doesn't appear....

Hmmm... sounds as if you do have problem,.. can we can a snapshot of your and settings and gallery. this will help solve us your problem quicker.

Think I found the problem, it has to be aproved by the admin first........

Isnt sweety the admin the site shes talking about.

I am not PC conversant my excuse also olde age. I managed to get Gallery up it says it has not been created but showing under header.I folowed the iinstructions here and it said Gallery configuration has been updated successfully
when I went to Gallery in hope to upload pics said no personal album been created. So Please what next?

There must be an option of.
Users Personal Albums
Your Personal Album

Click on any of them & create the albums.

Sorry to jump in but I'm having the same problem.

I have enabled the gallery but no button appears in the navigation bar.

Look at your images and make sure the logo is not hidden.

For the life of me I cannot find 'images' under Display either.

Like Dungate.... maybe it's my age!!

Yes, I have been into Gallery and scrolled down, but please bear in mind this is all new to me and what I see there is not clear to me.

Okay, so now you can add the image there. That should be it. It will add that gallery picture in the navigation bar.

If so, I have done that and nothing seems to change. I don't see the uploaded picture anywhere.!!!

Thats not the one. IN the first tab itself, there is the gallery in the navigation bar.
