Problem with Changing Theme

Hi and I have a problem with changing themes when i Change it to forumotion Blue color it doesnt change heres my forum link:

And It wont let me add categorys.

Hi!

Try changing themes from Hitskin.com and not directly from admin panel.
Your categories won't show up untill you add forums to them.

Can anyone tell me if only founders are able to change themes etc. I am an admin and am trying to help the founder set the forum up but can't change many of the settings - we just seem to be stuck - any help appreciated. Thanks

I believe if you are an administrator, you can change the theme.

thanks but if I can it isn't working - I make the changes - I get a message saying the change was successful but when I go back to home page, nothing has changed. This is the site http://chet321c.forumsmusic.com - Please help, I'm getting to the stage where I want to throw in the towel lol

After you change the theme are you saving the settings?

yes - I am doing it exactly as instructed - as I said I get the message that the change has been successful - I can even see the new theme in the preview. It appears to me as if something is locked/frozen - I can't do anything to change the theme screen we have - either change it or add background picture - it tells me it is successful but never changes.

I don't appear to have any problems with anything else, ie categories, forums, users etc, it just appears that the theme we have cannot be moved.

along with many other things only founders can do
