Do you agree with my suggestion?
More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
First topic message reminder :
Hello,
I suggest allowing more than one Group Moderator per Usergroup.
As you know, the responsibility of the Group Moderator is to accept/deny group membership request.
Problem is, if the designated Group Moderator for some reasons is unable to login to the forum for some time (e.g., he/she has to go to some place where there's no Internet connection), then the requests will be delayed, and users will complain.
To prevent such problems, there should be more than 1 Group Moderator per Usergroup. This way, if one Group Moderator is unable to login, the other Group Moderator will be able to take his/her place. Complaints from users feeling they're being unfairly delayed will drop.

Voted yes! Definitely need this! I was the 40th person to vote yes btw
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
C'mon ya'll. I know you want more moderators to mod groups. <3
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
Bump, please vote guys I know all of you agree with this suggestion and this is important in my forum too.
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
I voted "yes". Basically, if you have two, one could be a team leader and a team leader assistant for each group. That way, if one isn't able to be online at a specific time then the other one can be online to help out.
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
A casual bump to make this relevant. It's 2017. Can we get this, please?
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
This would be nice to have. With this more than one person can manage the group. Hopefully this can actually get worked on. I am voting a yes on this one and great suggestion @pepoluan!
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
Bump~ once again. Please!
I've wanted this for years... <3

Even if the group moderator is gone for a long time, the founder can do this without being the group moderator.

Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
That's not the point though.
Enabling a group to have more than one "owner" allows for role playing boards to have two leaders share ownership of the group to approve members into the group without it being an open group so anyone can join.
It also allows the Founder or Administrators the ability to have peace of mind so they're not giving admin panel access to more people than necessary.
Adding the ability to have more group moderators would enable a board to lessen those who get administration panel access.
And I think that's a good thing.
Also, sorry for the late reply.
I just really want this.

Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
Definitely yes, it would mean I wouldn't have to create multiple copies of the same group for each mod I decide to appoint.
Re: More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup
Friendly reminder.
Maybe this can be added to a package. Will definitely spend money on this. I don't even care anymore. I want it so badly.

Oh my goodness. A ten-year-old poll already?
This would be super helpful for founders like me that need to be in charge of everything but definitely wouldn't mind a helping hand with the requests!

This suggestions is for usergroups (group moderators) on forums, not having co-founders.

I am well aware of that, sir. (:
What I meant in my post is that in my forum I am the founder as well as the moderator in every group and feature I have, so I do all the work and administration. And that is why I voted yes for the feature concerned since I'd love to let some of my active users help me with group requests without putting the burden of being a moderator on a one single person.
I think there are many small forums just like mine so I don't think I am speaking just for myself.
