forum permissions

I have set my forum for "members" only but im still getting "guests" visiting? why is this?

When people visit my forum, i have the option to log in or register? so I dont understand why guests are viewing?

It says it once im logged on

Who is online?
In total there are 6 users online :: 3 Registered, 1 Hidden and 2 Guests
Most users ever online was 20 on Fri 20 Jan 2012 - 21:50

If you're sure your permissions are OK, it can be users that are not recognized by the forum, it happens sometimes...

if you are visiting a forum. . . and you are not logged in, you are considered a guest. . .

so maybe if they aren't really viewing your forum, they've just opened it. . it will show in there..

you can visit this

"YOURFORUMNAME".com/viewonline

to see what they are doing. . .

Guests are counted in the Who's Online area, but that does not mean they are exactly looking at anything you have that non-members can see.

When I visited your forum, all I saw was the log-in/register page.
