Solved Resetting Statistics/fresh.

Post by Yong Min January 30th 2012, 9:51 pm

I have recently removed all categories and forums to start something new/fresh. Is there anyway to reset the post count for all users? The board statistics seem to have changed by themselves, but users still have their original post count.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Yong-Min

Delete the threads/posts & the post count will go down.

Thank you for your response, Sanket. The threads/posts were deleted, however the post count still remains. Are you stating this is something that will happen to 'fix itself' in time, or is there no quick way to re-sync the post count of all users?

Thank you for taking the time to reply in the aid that it resolves my minor problem. However, I have already done the following steps you stated, and that did re-sync the overall forum statistics, but the actual thing that I was looking to re-sync was the post count for all members.

Although the whole forum statistics have re-synced successfully, members still have their original post counts (nothing has decreased). Hopefully in due cause this will amend and fix itself, but I was just making sure there isn't a 'quick fix' as so to speak for this issue.

If there is nothing to re-sync the member's posts (like there is for the forum statistics), perhaps this could be a suggestion for the future updates of Forumotion.

Once again, thank you for taking your time to reply, FL.ux. It is greatly appreciated.

The only way to resyn members is to manually do each one. To resyn a member go to the same place where the forum resyn is, the option to resyn a member should be above the forum resyn option.

Thank you for your reply, slg. I have now done what I intended to do, but manually is a real pain. I hope that in the near future, this could be something that Forumotion implement within an upgrade.
