Where is "forum address" in the "general admin" section?
Hi, I am trying to follow this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board
but in my general admin section there is no "forum address" part. Is this because I have to pay for the right to redirect? Or is it another problem?
For reference, my forum is oekonomidebatten.6forum.biz
All good, Peter

Re: Where is "forum address" in the "general admin" section?
Do you have a domain name to redirect to your forum?
Also are you in the advanced mode of the administration panel?
Administration Panel > General > Forum > Forum Address
Personalized Domian NameTab
You posted at the end All Good, does this mean this is solved?

Re: Where is "forum address" in the "general admin" section?
Thanks for the fast reply. Yes, I have actually 2 domain names ready
Under "forum" I have 3 subcategories in "advanced mode":
- configuration
- categories and forums
- security
I believe I should have one more subcategory here, according to your description. But I have not.
"all good" is a way of saying "all the best for you", a sort of greeting. Does not mean, that the problem is solved .

Hi,
You must be using the Founder account to see this option.

Oh boy, the founder is long gone from our forum. Is there any way to get around the problem without his consent?

Take a look at this thread about the founder account: https://help.forumotion.com/t81878-recovery-or-change-founder-of-an-account

OK thanks, I believe "in faith" that this will solve my problem. Will get back in another topic, if founder account takeover does not solve the issue.
