Members Can't Change their account passwords.
Members on my forums can't seem to be able to change their passwords. One of my forums members posted this:
I tried to change the password on my dummy testing account and faced the same issue.

Hi. I try to change my password. It seems that i can't do it
There are only two fields:
New password : *
You only need to supply a password if you want to change it
Confirm password : *
You only need to confirm your password if you changed it above
If i write the new passord in these two fields, i get the mesasge "The current password you supplied does not match the one stored in the database." Should't there be also a field for the old password?

Nope ... Members and Admins ... both can't see the current password box ... any idea why?
I know why admins can't .... I remember seeing an option in the admin menu some place ... but this member isn't an admin ... a mod though but not an admin

Have you added any codes or modified anything right before this occurred?

Nope. The only code I've added (way in the past) was FB Connect and stat counter.
No other code has been added or meddled with.

Re: Members Can't Change their account passwords.
Just checked it, the only thing that has been added in that template is the fb connect code.
To be specific
This was added.
To be specific
- Code:

This was added.
Re: Members Can't Change their account passwords.
Simply reset the template on the red cross and see is the problem fixed. If that was not the problem you can always put it back.

Re: Members Can't Change their account passwords.
Ok I don't exactly know how, but that seemed to fix it.
1. I clicked the red x (delete it)
2. The problem was fixed.
3. I opened the template again to add the fb connect code, but that was already present in it.
So to be honest, I don't know how but it got fixed.
Thanks!

You must have deleted something that was important by accident.
