Solved Widgets wont move...

Post by Scott0605 11/5/2012, 05:33

Hi all... I haven't had to come here in quite a while.

Anywho... my problem today is widgets... specifically it's not letting me move my layout of my forums around in the admin section. Instead of clicking and moving a specific feature (like it use to) all it does is highlight a widget. Did forumotion stop allowing layout configuration? The same goes for my portal... can't move the layout around (all it does is highlight the widget). Plz'n'thx for any assistance.

Are you clicking and dragging the widgets? I mean you are not releasing the button until you have move the widget where you want it.

Exactly... it will not allow me to click and drag the widget. Instead all it does is highlight the widget box. Is there some sort of lock function I am not aware of? I've been using forumotion for various sites for the past few years and have never had this problem. confused

Have you tried using a different browser?

Hmmm ok... it appears Chrome is somehow not allowing the click and drag. Works in FF. Thanks...
