Two problems concerning changing over forum ownership

I'm creating a forum for my group, however, I'm second in command of the group, and I'm designing it under my leader's request. I hand all of the technical stuff for her, and so she wanted me to move the forum from Proboards, to Forumoton. However, I'm having two problems:

1) Even after I gave her the password, and changed the ownership's email address over to her, she still can't get in. I've verified she's entering it right, and the strange thing is that I can get in using her email address, but she can't.

2) I can't seem to change the group moderator of the admins over to her. I've kept trying to, but it never changes.

Any help with these two problems is greatly appreciated!

Hi, and thank you for choosing ForuMotion!

Issue 1 - try changing the password again, sometimes the system doesn't allow multi-logins for some weird reason
We can further troubleshoot this, but want to make sure it's not the password being cached on the server side.

Issue 2 - Are you trying to change the group with the crown on it?
If so, the founding account, which cannot be demoted, nor modified by the non-founder cannot leave it. You will have to give your friend the password to that account as well. You are permitted to share the password between the both of you.

Ah, thanks you! The first problem has finally gone away. As for the second on, even if i do change the creator's account over to someone else, they can't be set as the group moderator of the admins? I'm not leaving the forums, or the admins, I'm just giving control over to the person who is supposed to have it in the end. I was only meant to set everything up, before turning it over.

You can set up another account and give the founder account to someone else. Before turning over the founder account, add your new account to the administrator group. When the member gets the founder account, he/she can change the password and/or username of the account. The new founder will be the group moderator of the administrators group.
