Banning members without them knowing?
Is it possible to ban members (if they have multiple IP's) without them getting some email notification, etc?
There is one person who I want to ban, but for now, quietly?

Don't they get an email sent when I ban them in the admin section?
I thought it auto-generated one?

IP ban doesn't generate a email as far as I know.

Infact there is no use IP banning, as he might be using proxies.
The best way is to keep banning his accounts. See if he keeps returning back.

Thanks, Will he receive notifications for any kind of banning at all?
Re: Banning members without them knowing?
For account getting banned, I am not really sure if they receive an email or not. Maybe, someone else can confirm this.

I believe the only way that a member finds out if he/she is ban is by trying to log onto the forum. I believe there is no email.
