(Only Topic!) New Editor
Is there a way to opt of this new editor? If not is there a way to at least set the smiley's back to the old way. They are hard to see even with the mouse over feature. Any member we have with poor eye sight will not be able to use them. I ware glasses and it's hard for me to make head nor tails on the smileys.
Thanks in advance for a quick reply.
Edit:
A few solutions for the problems.

At this time there is no way to opt out of the new editor, but addressing your concern of small smileys, this code worked on my forum:
- Code:
img.smiley {
width: auto !important;
height: auto !important;
}

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
The new text editor does not appear on mobile devices. Since many of our users use their phones to access the forum (and have confirmed that this is the problem in quick reply and in full reply mode), could the old editor be added as a selectable option on the admin panel so that they would still have these options? They do use the desktop version (the classic view) and it's still not showing up. Really, the old editor was much more functional (and more user-friendly).

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
Is there a way to prevent the emoticons from previewing each emoticon when you put the cursor on them?

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
I can't backspace certain parts of a line when clicking on it if I find an error in my post, it just automatically deletes the end of the line. In addition, there's no cursor line indicating where I'm typing.
Really shouyld have a choice between this editor and the old editor, this one is really messed up.

the smilie box wont show up. if you click on the smilie icon it will show the smilies as their normal sizes, instead of the resize images.

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
Dear forumotion: can you PLEASE give us the option to go back to the old one???
Many bugs with this one, and my forum is usually quite busy.
also its a pain to resize the quoting box every time... is there a way to put it at a certain height and width?

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
I agree with those that say why fix something that isn't broken! We are a five-year old forum wordnerds.omgforum.net and our members are used to the old editor, not to mention our forum is dark and this white thingy doesn't fit the aesthetics at all. If the mobile version doesn't work, it will also be a major problem for our users.
There are many admins who are not familiar with html/css code, so asking them to use that to bypass the new editor is not fair and not a good policy from Forumotion, IMO. Please give forumotion's forums the chance to choose which editor they want to use! Thanks!
ETA: The way the smilies are shown is really annoying as we do have bigger smilies than the regular ones.

Re: (Only Topic!) New Editor
you can not choose between the old and the new editor as they are incompatible. for smileys, we will try to improve the visual renderingTWYLYGHT wrote:Is there a way to opt of this new editor? as i sayed, you can not choose between the old and the new editor as they are incompatible. FYI, the new editor as the old one is not intended for use on mobile devices whenever you have a mobile version of the forum...

as usual, if we could give you the choice, you would not even have to ask. if we choose to keep only the new editor that's because it's the only choice we can do.
since years the entire forumotions communitys demanded a new editor and now that you have it and it works better than the old one you want the old editor ... no comment

Godfather, my users use mobile devices in desktop view, so everything is exactly as on desktop except for the editor. They use the classical view, not the mobile view.

I also have 2 problems with the new editor in quote mode:
1. The "A" button is still there
2. The "Attach File" is off to the right
Could you fix that for me please?
I have to warn you I have edited ALOT of templates.

How do you show the widget on the home page only for right side the code does not work with the new editor for some reason. I'm using PHBB2
