Forumotion Terms of Service Question
I'm well acquainted with the Terms of Service Forumotion has in place but I have a question with regards to a website I am working on. I know that the ToS has restrictions on illegal content and the like but I am thinking about creating a "Criminal RPG" naturally the characters will be involved with guns, drugs, etc. but with nothing specific and nothing that could cause any legitimate danger to the RPers or any legal issues. I was wondering if this would be permissible? I apologize if not and I am perfectly willing to refrain from working on the RPG any longer if this is the case.

Re: Forumotion Terms of Service Question
Not sure it is hard to say without knowing how it goes?
It would depend on exactly how it is all conducted and whether it remains on a pg-13 level.
You should keep all content appropriate for persons of at least 13 years of age on your forum and should be fine. If all is maintained on a PG-13 rating then you should not have any problems.

That's what complicates things a bit. I'm not entirely sure what to rate it. All I can say, really, is that there will naturally be violence, mild cursing, drug-related endeavors, etc. in the RP experience. I've been watching a show that perfectly exhibits what the RP might contain. The show is called Breaking Bad but it is rated TV-14. But at the same time, I could cut down on what is allowed to be said (the show has the F-word among other things) as well as put limitations on the amount of "gore" that is allowed in descriptions. Things like that. Do you think that'd be enough to make it PG-13 acceptable instead of TV-14? My main concern was the mention of drugs that will be involved. I wasn't sure if any mention would be an immediate violation of the ToS or if it would be fine considering it wouldn't be very detailed or in-depth and it'd all be in RP.

In respect to the TOS, i would suggest not to assume things. Don't try to walk on the border of something, you might have to pay a price for it. So better off, not to work on something that has a gray area.

Thanks, Sanket. I wasn't assuming anything at all. That's why I asked first rather than assume it was okay. I guess I'll just discard my project.
