About Contact Fields
Hello,
I got a problem with Contact Fields. First image, we have many social options : FB, Twitter, Pinterest...etc. Next one, i create a Google Talk contact fileds [sdasd] and when i type nothing happens, but FB - Twitter are ok. I can click on them, it will open another browser tab.
Can i replace Google Talk with Google Plus (G+) ?. G+ better, that's my mind ! They are 3 big social networks, instead of chat tool.
How can i do that ?

Re: About Contact Fields
No, I don't think so I believe that those fields are set by default by forumotion and are not editable. But you can add a profile field for that option if you would like.
Re: About Contact Fields

And 1 more, as we know {USER_NAME} code (without _), i want a same code but for {USER_EMAIL_ADDRESS}.
When the user click on the down arrow,it will show their profile info like this :
(1) : {USER_NAME}
(2) : {USER_EMAIL_ADDRESS}
(3) : Change your signature
(4) : Change your profile
(5) : Log out
That's all. I need your help
Thanks for reading.

Re: About Contact Fields
Again I believe those codes are preset by forumotion staff and I don't think you can edit any of the codes or add any to it. But what forum is that image from. Please post it i may be able to fix to get the rest to work for you via template editing.
Re: About Contact Fields
I mean :"What's the code?" Not edit it ^^ If u put the {USER_NAME} code ,it will like this Guest. Just want a code for user_email_address.

Re: About Contact Fields
Do you believe your members would want their email addresses so easily seen by others?

Re: About Contact Fields
The forum by default has where you can set in your profile so members can contact you by email or not. If the admin has an icon in pic management for email it will show under everyones profile that has in their profile set to allow emails. What it does when you click it is show an email form and no one sees the email address because the forum sends them one and keeps it hidden.
Re: About Contact Fields
I know this, but most members do not like to receive emails from other members. Many members do not know that emails can be sent from the forum to them.

Re: About Contact Fields
Right, I don't have an icon on my forum so no member can contact another one by email using the forum. If you don't have an icon in pic management it removes the link for everyone.
Re: About Contact Fields
Well when I had my Forumotion forum, the email icon was there so a members could email other members.
Unless that member has set it that he or she does not want to be contacted by email or PM from other members, in their profile settings. But it never displayed the email address and you had to be logged into the forum to email someone.
The answer to the second question is, yes you can edit the name of the contact fields such as Facebook to say something else, if you want to.
