Forum Cleaning Itself Too Often
hi guys,
first off.. forgive me if this is in the wrong section as im on my phone
and very limited with it.. move the thread if needs be......
over the last month, myself and my other admin team have noticed that
any time we come back onto our forum.. the forum cleans itself.... as in
theres no new posts visible on the main forum... we dont have to log out
and come back in for this to happen.. just simply come back onto the forum
and straight away, no posts... this is very annoying as our forum sees alot
of traffic during the day.. it does effect our traffic on a daily basis.... this
only happens when our admin team comes online and we have 3 main admin
and 3 supermoderators which have the same powers as admin so as you can
imagine, our forum cleans itself way too much on an average day...
p.s. this only used to happen when a member of the admin team was logged out
and logged back in.. now its constant and we dont have to be logged out!
is there any way to solve this, any option in the admin panel that im not aware
of....??
thanks for your time,
john.....

Hi John,
Thanks for choosing FM!
Can I ask what your forum's URL is please?if
Are the topics actually being deleted, or just not displaying?
You can check you use a 2nd device, as such your mobile, and a PC.

URL is: http://www.toyotaownersclub-irl.com (live since 2010)
topics are not been deleted by ourselves... its been done automatically once a
member of our admin team comes online........ just say if there was 2 pages of
threads.. when a member of our admin team comes online, theres no new posts
and we get the normal msg saying, "no topics or posts meet your search criteria"..
this only used to happen when a member of our admin team was logged out of the
forum and logged back in but now they dont even have to be logged out..... its the
same on both mobile and pc... i set up another account (standard member account)
and it doesnt happen when "members" come online.. just when our admin team does
but this effects everybody, staff and members alike....
again its very annoying cause all our admin team comes online at certain times of the
day so the forum is cleaning itself (no posts) way too much on a daily basis.. we have
near or over 200 members/staff etc etc online on any given day...... seeing no posts on
the forum on average up to 12 times a day kills these statistics and kills our traffic...
its only happening the last month or so, so its something forumotion has changed i "think"..
just want to get it sorted...
thanks for your time,
john......

I have received your PM :verygood:and I have replied
After checking your forum, the problem may come from "auto-pruning" option.
I advise you to read the following tuto: https://help.forumotion.com/t8323-auto-pruning
Let me know if it is working well,
Best regards
