Used Forum Utilities to restore forum, can't log-in to forum
Hi there,
I had a forum a few years back, thousands of members and posts, ect. I closed it down about a year ago I think but right before I did that I made a back up of it using Forumotion Utilities.
The email used for my account is the one I got when I purchased the domain name through Forumotion, and the domain name isn't active no more and that email is dead because Forumotion closes said email once the domain name runs out and I cannot change the domain name to something new because I cannot log back into the forum. Ugh. I know the admin details but those aren't working, but when I go to reset password and put in that free email I got from purchasing the domain name from Forumotion way back, it says the password has been reset and I should visit that email... but it's dead... because I don't have that domain name anymore. Webmail from Forumotion, I think it was called...
Any help is much appreciated. Sorry if this post seems all over the place.

Hello,
I have received your pm and I have put in a request for your foundation e-mail address to be changed and then a new password be dispatched to you.
Unfortunately the request will require a pro staff to make the change serverside, since it is the weekend and the main office is closed, it will be atleast Monday at the earliest before the change is done. In the mean time, I would like to ask for your patience.
Have a great weekend,
-Brandon

Do you mean that you deleted your forum then restored it? If yes, then your log in information has been restored to the what it was when you created the forum.

SLGray, I don't this is what happened entirely, becuase when I went into our tools to request the foundation e-mail reset, the Founder's username came up as something different from 'Admin'.
Either way, I have put in a request for the foundation e-mail address to be changed and then a new password be e-mailed to the user, this should hopefully happen Monday .

Correct.
Yeah I get that, but it has been nearly two years, I think, since I last logged in. I cannot remember the details, the account is using a dead Forumotion webmail email so I cannot reset the details, ect.
