In progress Forum log-in issues

I hoping that I have come to the correct place to get some help with a log-in issue I'm having on a certain forum?

Here's the link too the forum in question....

 http://golddetecting.4umer.net/

It's been a few months since I logged onto the above forum, but I can't seem too at the present, I should have the same username as I do on this forum, I know the email is the same I use for this forum, but when I try to log-in, it says "incorrect or active username or incorrect password.", I then tried a few other usernames and/ or passwords that I have used in the past on such forums and I still can't log-in, I guess that my username is either inactive or I not getting the correct combination of username and password correct, as mentioned I know the email address is correct since I tried to register again and I get a message saying that the email address is already registered to another username, of which I tried several different usernames with the same results.

If someone with the authority can help me get log-in/reactivated with my original profile linked too my email address or at last resort delete my profile on that forum so my email will be released so I can register again.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

If you have forgotten your password as well as your username then read this tutorial.

https://help.forumotion.com/t127211-password-problems#849991

Another option you can try is accessing the forum utilities

https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

You can use your forum address and password and hopefully you'll get the right combination. Once in you can see an option to fast track to your admin panel as well as password resetting options.

Also if you remember the email address that you used then you can also try and find prior emails to see what your username could be.

I'm just a regular member of that forum, I can't contact the Administrator unless I'm logged in, which I cannot do, I have tried everything that is in that tutorial except that which only an Administrator can do.

Thanks for your reply.

Ah right,

I assumed you were the admin of that forum as most of the time people who have troubles accessing a forum due to lost passwords generally are the admins. My apologies.

The only other thing I can suggest would be you create a new account with a different email address and PM the admin explaining that you've lost access to your old account and maybe they can help track that account as you do remember the email address all you'll need to do is let him know that and he can look you up in his Admin Control Panel.

Sorry, but we can reset passwords of regular members. Only founders of forums can have their passwords reset.

You can try creating a new account or try contacting a staff member on the forum in question.
