Users.
I am having trouble with users signing up on my website.
First some users never got an email from Forumotion to activate their account.
Also, when some users did get an account to work I had to change there username to what it should have actually been. However, after I did this they were NOT able to log in with there before or changed username. I had to change their password as well.
Also when one of my users registered under a certain name, WITHOUT activation they went to try to register again to actually access my site their desired username was taken. Is there ANY way I can make it so a username is NOT taken until the account is activated by email?

What exactly happens when you try to change the username? Is there any message you see after trying to change the username?

Re: Users.
well the name "Adore" was taken by the same person but they couldn't use the name because they received the account activation E-Mail 24 hours after signing up and so they made a new account before then to hurry up the process so an un-active account had "Adore" while the same person made a new account "Adoree" which I allowed because this person wanted to be active on my website. However, Once both accounts were activated I simply changed "Adore" to "Asoreaxaszd" and "Adoree" to "Adore" so in a way the issue was fixed and taken care of.

So is it solved?
