Making forum available to logged in members only
We wish to make our site private for registered members only; i.e. the home page would only be a login or register page only, How or is this possible in the admin panel.

Administration Panel > General > Forum > Categories & Forums
Uncheck the guests boxes in the permissions of each forum.
Administration Panel > User & Usergroups > Special Rights
Use the drop-down menus.
Widgets:
Press the permissions icon on the widgets and uncheck the guests box.

I don't get the widgets one.
Are they in Modules>portals and widgets>forum widget management? But I don't see any options for guests or members etc.
Further advice required please.

If you click on a widget it will bring up who can see said widget and you check the boxes you want to.
