All members to get notification on new topic/post/reply

Hi All,

I have searched the forum for a solution but unable to find one.

I would like to configure my forum so that whenever a member add a new topic/post/reply, all other members will receive a notification.

I understand each individual member can update their profile setting to always receive notification when someone reply to a topic the member posted in. Also when a member create a post they can set to receive notification when someone reply to the post.

Is there a way to configure it so that they will always receive notification for every topic/post/reply in the forum?

There is not a global setting for this.  Each member will have to set it in their profiles.

Thanks SLGray. Just to check, is the member profile setting you suggested the same as what I mentioned in my post? If so, that only covers topics own by the member or topics the member posted in. I.e. New topics by other member would notify the member.

I guess this is a limitation to the forum. Does anyone know if there is a suggestion box to ask for new enhanced features to be consider.

Members will have to press the links to watch a forum or a topic in the forum and topic themselves.
