Backup of my forum

I backed up the board this morning and some of the posts are missing like 300. The board back up 12 hours and it messed up posts. Some of the topics are up to date and some got taken till March 5th. Can you help me?
I had last night 27017 posts total. My co admin had 10525 posts on her and i had 5214.

Hello,

When performing a back up, posts are expected to be missing.

The only way to recover the lost posts would be to do another back-up to the today, but you would lost any posts create from now to when you do the back-up.

Oh no. I will just deal with it. Some of the posts are coming back. How would i do another back up for today and have them come back?

I have also checked your forum. There is no fall in posts, members, subjects... Today, the number of post is 27070 (no decrease)

On your co-admin profile (Marti?), there are 10494 posts Wink

I think all is normal. Don't hesitate to post on this topic if you still have the problem

Wow how did you see this cause i can't find it lol.
I was more concerned with losing my board and that is why i did the backup.

Buttercup is a Pro Admin who works for Forumotion, she deals with all things technical and communicates bugs and other stuff to us, the members. Therefore she can find out stuff with regards to forums.

As Derri said, as ProAdmin I can access to some of statitics. It is good way to prevent problems & verify what is happening.
So, don't worry you did not lose any data Wink
