Deleting Personal Information when requested.

I know that as a forum administrator, that if a member asks for his account and personal information to be removed, I, as an administrator am required to do so.    I know that we would remove the delete the account that all posts would resort to "guest".     What I'm not sure of is what is considered personal information besides name, address, and phone number.      Would this also include any medical information the user posted?    What about poetry and stories they wrote?    I am trying to get an idea of just what "personal" information is defined as.     Thanks for your help.   Also,  at the time of the school shooting in Sandy Hook Ct, I was pretty much telling them what was going on and this was a very emotional time for me.   Do I have the right to have that deleted also?

If the member wants his/her account and posts to be removed, I would remove everything by that member.

Personal information will be telephone number, physical address, photos of the member, IP address, email address, medical information, age, birthday date, etc.

So, would that include the stories and poetry that person wrote?

It depends on him, honestly, it IS his to begin with. Just ask for his consent for you to keep them .

that is what I thought, but I wanted to be sure.    I figure it's good to know before a problem crops up.     Personally,   I would just give them to the person that wrote them.    Thanks for your answer.
